Jessamine is one of the best teachers I've ever met.
She has an uncompromising and professional spirit. She is strict about our pronunciation errors, but also kind.
She shows us a great deal of hospitality. She answers our questions whenever we ask and her explanations are always clear. I always feel like I'm a guest as well as a student.
She grasps common pronunciation errors well that are seen in most international students.
She taught us the reason why pronunciation and intonation are important in English communication. If she hadn't taught us that, I would keep speaking impolitely and possibly offend native speakers.
The scales fell from my eyes when I learned the pronunciation rules. I had never learned such useful rules before participating in her class.
The small classes at Arlington are comfortable. I have many opportunities to practice pronunciation (again and again) until I'm satisfied.
